Atsushi Taira
(CEO)
Atsushi Taira has worked at some of the world's top organisations including Coca-Cola, DoCoMo AOL, MySpace Japan & Yahoo! Japan where he was the GM responsible for all consumer business such as Auctions, Premium Membership management, VAS contents sales, and also handled all marketing activities of Search, Shopping, Media services and Yahoo! Japan brand.
In Sep 2010, he was appointed an as advisor to the CEO's office and SVP of International Business Development at SoftBank Corporation to develop mobile Internet opportunities for Asian countries. Atsushi is now the CEO of Bharti SoftBank.
Kavin Bharti Mittal
(Head of Strategy/New Product Development)
Kavin graduated from Imperial College London in 2009 with a MEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with Management. While at Imperial College, Kavin interned at some of the world's leading institutions including McLaren Racing, Google & Goldman Sachs.
Kavin is an extreme tech enthusiast and has been actively involved in the internet start-up community. At the age of 20, Kavin founded AppSpark to explore the possibilities in the mobile apps space. Kavin's determination to build services with a great user experience and immense focus on design led AppSpark's flagship app Movies Now to be recognised by Apple as 'One of the 10 Essential Movie Goer Apps' for the iPhone. Kavin now heads Strategy and New Product Development at BSB.
Madhu Nori
(Head of Operations)
Madhu brings a diverse and well rounded experience of over 18 years to BSB having worked with several top-tier global wireless Telecom companies. Madhu joined Airtel in 2008 where he was responsible for the creation of consumer and enterprise data services with a focus on device related innovations and mobile internet services.
Madhu previously worked at Sprint-Nextel and Verizon Wirelss where he led key initiatives in the networks division and consumer data products group respectively. Madhu now heads operations at BSB.
